1. Mountain Day Weekend

The biggest weekend on campus is never complete without the students marching up and down a mountain, wearing their pink, blue, and white, tossing pennies into a basket. Homecoming weekend for Berry College is unlike any other.

2. Marthapalooza

There is no bigger birthday party than Marthapalooza! 2500 attendees join in for the celebratory carnival for our founder Martha Berry.

3. Exploring the 27,000 acres

No, that was not a typo; Berry College has 27,000 acres for you to experience. Whether you're hiking to the House O' Dreams or hanging out in a Hammock zone, Berry students enjoy their home.

4. Service

Berry students certainly have a heart for service. Whether they are serving in the Rome community or traveling to help disaster relief, Berry students live out our motto "Not to be ministered unto; but to minister."

5. Exploring Rome

No, not Rome, Italy. Berry is located just outside of Rome, GA. Students love to explore the Rome community including its one-of-a-kind downtown!

6. The Shipyard

Berry athletics are an important part of campus that we love to celebrate! With the inaugural football season in 2013-2014, students started a new tradition known as the Shipyard. This tailgating experience is meant to bring students out to the games and to cheer on the Vikings to victory! #WeAllRow

7. Playfair

An event like no other, Viking Venture's Playfair is described as an event that you can't describe. What we can guarantee is that you will meet several hundred of your fellow Berry students within a span of 2 hours.

8. Intramurals

Berry has some intense intramural teams! From Quidditch to Flag Football, our teams know how to show off their competitiveness, with the ultimate goal of winning a championship tshirt.

9. Dance Concert

Dance Concert is a favorite event in the Berry community. Held in the Rome City Auditorium on the historic Broad Street, this annual program is choreographed and performed by students and shows off both their creative and athletic sides.
