A Fashion Shoot On Michigan's Magical Island

Photographer Tom Corbett and his team used horses and buggies to move their equipment around Mackinac Island.

Have you heard of Mackinac Island?

It's a 3.8-square-mile bit of land in Lake Huron, between Michigan's Lower and Upper Peninsulas and you can only get there by ferry.

So, photographer Tom Corbett and his team rode the ferry there with a bunch of equipment for a photo shoot.

The images are in the holiday edition of Somerset Collection magazine.

One of the island's main attractions is the Grand Hotel.

You still have to get dressed up to go to dinner (not to mention to play croquet).

The Grand Hotel has been photographed again and again, so Corbett brought a new, modern perspective.

She's actually talking on an iPhone 7.

Did we mention no cars are allowed on Mackinac Island?

Corbett and his crew moved around via horse and buggy.

And that's not sunlight – it's entirely artificial.
