    The Real Science In The Amazing Spider-Man

    If you're looking forward to The Amazing Spider-Man for the wall crawling and 3D web slinging, there's even more good news. All of it is based in real science. University of Minnesota physics professor Jim Kakalios was the official science consultant on the film and gave the filmmakers the scientific basis for wall crawling and the tensile strength of spiders webbing, as well as an equation called the Decay Rate Algorithm.
