There are many wild and wonderful conspiracy theories out there. I've tried to source the 10 most "out there". Enjoy.

1. Michael and LaToya Jackson are the same person...

This is just delusional Jackson fans, grasping onto... Something.

Both are considered to be big plastic surgery fans.

And they do look very similar.

I suppose you have to ask yourself , have you ever seen them in the same room at the same time? Ever? Probably.

2. The Font "Wingdings" Harbours Hidden Messages...

A corporation as rich, powerful and dominant as Microsoft was always going to attract attention from theorists.

Satanic teachings of the underworld, and future terror plots are among the crazy messages allegedly contained within the symbols.

NYC (in wingdings) produces a skull and crossbones, the Star of David, followed by a thumbs up. This sparked the wacky idea that attacks on the NYC Jewish community were encouraged.

Microsoft deny all. (unsurprisingly)

3. Marilyn Monroe Was The Victim Of Murder...

A small number of theorists claim that Marilyn Monroe never did die in the way the public know.

The alleged lover of Marilyn Monroe (JFK), is the main suspect in the eyes of the theorists.

4. Princess Diana

This is just mental.

The accused include; The Royal Family, Reptilians and the CIA.

What?

She died in a car crash! Not everything is so devious!

5. Bar-codes

The bar-code is a Satanic tool! Not a simple way of scanning shopping.

The "number of the beast" 666 is slyly encoded into each one, and the whole bar-code system was designed by the devil himself to gain control of the minds of the unsuspecting public.

6. The King Isn't Dead...

For many of the devoted, it is just too hard to accept that Elvis, The King, is in fact dead.

The theory is simple. Elvis simply had enough of fame and just wanted some peace and quiet.

7. The Reptilian Humanoids

According to David Icke (A former Coventry City goalkeeper of all things), a string of US Presidents, senior diplomats and even the British Royal Family are reptilian overlords bent on war mongering and the creation of negative emotions to sustain them.

The weirdest thing is, he isn't alone! Hundreds, maybe thousands across the globe have bought into this theory.

8. Paul McCartney Is Dead

Supposedly the legendary Beatles singer was killed in a car accident in 1966 and replaced by a look-a-like/sound-a-like.

Theorists have pieced together what they think are a string of clues from various tunes released by the Fab Four after his supposed "death".

They claim that if you play Revolution 9 backwards you hear the sound of a car crash and the words "turn me on, dead man".

Fanatics also point to the iconic cover of the Abbey Road album with John Lennon dressed like a clergyman, Ringo Starr wearing a black suit, Paul walking without shoes out of step with the other Beatles and George Harrison's denim outfit resembling that of a grave digger.

There is absolutely no evidence to back up the bizarre theory, and it is likely that any "clues" planted in later songs were done so either unwittingly or as part of an in-joke between band members.

9. The Nazi Moon Base

Hitler and his evil reign have spawned no end of conspiracy theories.

The most incredible theory by far is that the Nazis conquered space in 1942 (1942!) and built a base on the moon.

Not only did they construct a Swastika shaped base in outer space, theorists would also promote the idea that the Nazis did in fact contact advanced alien races.

For me to point out what is wrong with this theory would be fairly condescending... So I won't.

10. KFC Causes Impotence In Black Men...

What? This is just absurd.

The Colonel , the face and founder of the fast-food giant, was rumoured to have left 10% of his earnings to the Ku Klux Klan in his will.

This sparked rumours that KFC was being run by the KKK after Sanders' death, and that a special blend of "herbs and spices" contained a drug that renders African American males sterile.

Funnily enough, KFC is now owned by a black man.
