As a musician making my living in music from ‘67-76, I was often called ‘hippie’ by unhappy people. They thought they were insulting me! I wasn’t! I learned to feel a kind of indifference to those outside the Aquarian Age. I felt both a part of and apart from ‘hippydom’! For me, not belonging to anything was of most significance! Not religions, or their opposites. No private clubs, well except ‘musicians’! No political movements, not until Harper! If any human were more anti-hippy, I can’t think of one! It was a treat to revisit the late ‘60’s, and Yorkville by way of these comments!
