Ghostly Fog Swallows City Of Vancouver
DOWNTOWN Vancouver is carpeted in thick fog with the city's skyscrapers poking out above the clouds. The eerie footage was captured by British ex-pat Alexis Birkill. The 31-year-old, originally from Sheffield, Yorks, had scaled the nearby Cypress Provincial Park to snap the week-long fog which descended on the city. The rare phenomenon was said to be caused by a temperature inversion.
