I have seen police brutality up close and personal. At a high school football game, on the way to the snack bar, my son saw a man beating on a kid with a flashlight. He stepped forward, (all 95 bs of him) and asked the man to stop. He was an off duty cop but never identified himself. He knew the kid he was hitting and didn't like him. He ended up breaking the kids wrist and arrested both of them. Up until then, I had always told my kids to respect the police. After that I told them to never piss off a cop. They have the power and the majority are azzholes. What amazes me is that with all this violence on the part of the police, the occupyers don't retaliate. To me, that says it all.
