You plug in your iPhone and boot up iTunes...
but you have to update your iTunes to start the iOS 7 install.
The iTunes update finishes and you can finally start your install.
The estimated time for your iOS 7 install says 30 minutes.
So you eagerly wait 30 minutes...
And then you wait some more...
Until you've waited over an hour.
Then iTunes gives you an error message.
Which you were kinda expecting (it's an iPhone).
So you start the process over.
And you wait another 30 minutes...
So you start searching forums for other users with the same problems.
Because surely others are having the same issues (it's an iPhone)...
But no one seems to have any good answers.
One forum tells you to uninstall the software, restore the device, and reinstall the software.
But you give it a try anyway.
Then you wait another 30 minutes...
Until you get the error message again.
Which means your iPhone is basically useless.
So many text messages were left unresponded when the update started!
And what did everyone have for dinner and post on Instagram!?
You head back to the forums for more answers.
But you know it's useless.
You'll have to get help from IT in the morning.
But in the meantime, you'll enjoy a break from the world.
