When my cats eat it sounds like someone scarfing a piece of watermelon. It is not an adorable noise.

lol, my cat used to make those noises regardless of whether there were people in the room. It especially kicked into overdrive if he was eating his favorite foods. Both his brother and father made the exact same sounds.. eff I miss him. :(

I wonder how many people really thought their cats were saying ‘yum’ and not just growling because they had food and a camera in their face. The last one really did sound like he was saying ‘yum’. Was it just me or did most of them sound like Donald Duck?

It doesn’t count if you have to agitate your cat by petting them while they’re eating/drinking. They are growling at you, not nom nom nomming.

All they’re really doing is pissing off the cats while they’re trying to eat.

My psychotic overweight rescued cat would do that if you came within five feet of him while eating. It was just one of his many a-hole moves… it sounded cute but he was two seconds away from clawing your face off.
