5 Haircuts That Were More Epic Than Beyonce's

You're in love with Beyonce's cut, but there have been many before her to took the scissor plunge and got a huge career boost. She may not need the boost, but their cut moments are still better.

Yay Beyonce! You did something totally different with your appearance! But, of course, we have seen this "cut your hair to re-invent yourself" method with many others. Granted, Mrs. Carter doesn't really need a re-invention at this point in her success (and we saw this short hair on her as a wig during the "Cadillac Records" movie promo), but, then again, its not like you're gonna see her pixie during the concerts. Thats right folks, the instagram photo will likely be your last time seeing the short locks, because the wigs are back in full effect once the curtain opens! Let's look back at other epic hair moments where less definitely became more for these careers:

1. Miley Cyrus - twerking or not, her haircut was the best thing to ever happen to her. She's living off of that Disney money forever, but Hannah Montana went away with those dirty blond strands

2. Britney Spears - this was a pivitol moment for Britney once she cut..err.. buzzed her hair. it was the beginning of a meltdown that lasted for years, but her come back was even better!

3. Rihanna - Long-haired Rihanna was good, but "Umbrella Bob Cut" Rihanna made her great. Now, its hard to really understand just what Rihanna's hair is doing, but thats her personality anyway.

4. Kelis - She showed us who was bossy, cutting her hair right on set of her video. The big curly hair was great for her milkshake, but not for a boss.

5. Halle Berry - her haircut is epic. How many chicks from the 90's (and even now) still ask their beautician for "The Halle Berry?" So many. Even when Halle's hair took a turn for the worst in "The Call," she cut it back and Earth took a bow.
