Barbra is the queen, and we are all her loyal followers. We should all be thankful that even though there were those who doubted her singing style and told her she'd never make it in the biz without changing her appearance, Barbra did not falter. Those people probably don't have 2 Oscars, 15 Grammys, 5 Emmys, and a Tony award, making her one of the few people on EARTH with an EGOT under their belt. Haters to the left.

Liza Minelli

Winner of four Tony awards, Liza Minelli is a genius performer. In 1965 she became the youngest woman EVER to win a leading actress Tony Award for Flora the Red Menace. She's also another fierce EGOT holder - and we're certainly thankful for her career-defining and Oscar-winning performance as Sally Bowles in the film version of the Kander and Ebb musical "Cabaret."

Bernadette Peters

Where do we even begin with Bernadette? We are ETERNALLY grateful for her epic skills at throwing shade on stage (see above). Although we are excited at the prospect of Meryl Streep taking on the role of the Witch in the upcoming "Into the Woods" film, Bernadette will always be it for us.

Also, we give so many thanks to you for your amazing performances in shows like The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Ragtime, and Raisin in the Sun. Audra has won FIVE Tony Awards, sharing the record for most Tonys won by an actor with Julie Harris and Angela Lansbury. NBD.

She is currently gracing our TV screens alongside Jessica Lange and Angela Bassett in "American Horror Story: Coven" which is almost too much fierceness to comprehend.

Look familiar? Before he was Saul on Homeland, Mandy P. was (and still is) a musical theatre god. We are of course forever thankful for his iconic "Princess Bride" portrayal of Inigo Montoya, but Broadway lovers will also hold a special place in their hearts for Mandy's turns in Sunday in the Park with George, Evita, and "Yentl."
