Steve Gobs 6 months agoHaving worked 3 BF with Best Buy, one of the sadder parts was the people at the front of the line were foreign customers here on visa looking to get great deals to send home overseas or they were resellers and taking the items to sell later that day. I was wondering about this for a couple reasons. If they can wait outside several days, this means they don’t have a job or have taken off work. ( I guess it’s possible for someone just waiting in their place while they go to work, bathroom, etc.) However, if they take off work, wouldn’t they make more money at their jobs vs. the saving or selling items? Also, if they don’t have jobs, wouldn’t it be a better use of time looking for employment? If you’re living off limited funds, how could this be a profitable way of spending that money? Aren’t Black Friday sales limited to certain amounts per person?

No, you usually are limited to a certain item (like, you can’t get two TVs for the sale price), BUT you can get as many deals as you want, PLUS usually people have buddies that stand in line with them to allow bathroom breaks, plus it provides ways around the whole one-per-person rule.
