Logorama blew my mind. Imagine how much hard work was put into that. Wow, it was really great.

French Roast and Lady and the Reaper were rather meh. Loaf and Death is yet another Wallace and Gromit piece with pretty much the same premise as the previous ones *yawn*. Granny was good, but too short. Logorama was an incredibly engaging and original piece and doubtlessly deserved to win.

I was blown away by Logorama. Just great.

I think Logorama won (and rightly so) because it was the only nominee that didn't steal Pixar's entire aesthetic wholesale. I thought French Roast was really cute and sweet, but then I thought, “Wait a minute, where have I seen this quirky physical comedy mixed with melancholy before? Oh that's right, every Pixar film and short ever.” Certainly, there is more to animation than just Pixar. The medium got along fine for a good century before they came around and - though I appreciate what they do - it isn't the apex of animation by any means.

I love wallace and groment my cousin has all the videos I used to watch all the episodes so I love that one also the reaper one was dark , but also made me smile

I have to admit my favorite was “Granny O'Grimm's Sleeping Beauty” but that is more based on my likes, not what is Oscar winning worthy.

I'm not going to lie, the writing on Logorama's pretty awful. I mean it looks amazing and it's a great idea but the writing is just shit. Almost all the other short films up there are better written, in this one's opinion. But who cares, they're all great at the end of the day. More then I could ever muster.
