German Harry Potter looks like some obnoxious, creepy, bratty kid from the mid-90’s. Thanks for the nightmares!

I definitely like the American ones best (maybe in part because I grew up with them), but I really kind of like the Danish ones as well. I think the British and Spanish ones are probably the best after those. I liked the Italian cover for book 7 though, with the silver doe. :)

How is it that “deathly hallows” translated into Danish comes out as one word?! Is that a day-to-day concept there?

The UK Adult versions are FTW. The french have a distinctive children’s book-like cover.

I love the British adult covers, those are the best!

I most love the German ones but the Americans are on the second place.The Dutchs are nice too.

I love how in all the German covers Harry’s expression is channeling the Rock.

The ‘Deathly Hallows’ French cover is pretty awesome. Simple yet meditative.

They publish Harry Potter in Latin too.

The British kids ones are the ones that we get in Australia too! I like those ones.  My copy of the Philosophers Stone is so ripped and terrible. It got wet in my school bag one day years ago but I just can’t throw it out <3

Good idea on the British adult covers. I’m sure there’s a lot of people reading Harry Potter that want to cover the fact that they’re reading a children’s book.
