Id be lying if I told you that you still don't have to count calories. You obviously can't go out of control and eat crazy amounts of fats, that's why macro counting is paramount.

It's not to say I don't have to watch my food intake or calories, but I get to enjoy food and lose weight.
If you were a vegan doing LCHF, that may be why it didn't work. You can't consume any beans or peas while doing it as beans are high carb.
To do LCHF, you have to eat meats and animal fats.

Actually the exact opposite happens. I have a hormone disorder and was recommended a Keto lifestyle, and it's been the best for me.
With paleo and Keto, you have to consume no sugar, and no starch so your body runs off of the fat you consume and the fat that is stored in your body.…Â
