A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TEACHER

Anyone who has spent anytime in a classroom recently knows that a Teacher must be all things to everyone. It is unfortunate that there are some in this Country who continue to perpetuate the myth that Teachers are not important and even go as far as to say they have easy lives with Summers off. I propose that if people believe that being a Teacher is an easy profession they take time to see what the truth is. There should be a program in which businesses set aside time for their employees to help out in Schools for more than just a brief afternoon in which most of the time they don't see children as they truly are in a normal day. The chaos of a classroom, Parents who fail to be involved or are to involved in their children's lives, the administrative regulations, lack of supplies and quality Schools are just a few of the challenges that face those we expect to educate our Children. If we really care about their futures we should do everything we can to help those who Teach them have what they need to do the job.
