4 Tips That Will Help You Avoid Wrinkles in the Long Run

Here are four tips on how to prevent wrinkles. Combine these and other good skincare practices, including a good wrinkle cream to help you soften any wrinkles you might have, and to assist you in avoiding getting new wrinkles in the future. Your skin is the largest organ in your body and when you take care of it, your whole body will benefit and you'll be rewarded in the long run.

    • The Tips

      1. Eat lots of fish.
Fish has plenty of protein, and the protein in fish isn't just any protein- fish protein is nearly magical in comparison with other protein. The protein in fish can help enhance the appearance of skin. For example, fish contains Omega 3, which is a fatty acid which is essential to your skin. Omega-3 helps keep skin healthy and elastic, and can actually reduce wrinkles.  2. Drink less coffee. Try cocoa instead.
Certain nutrients in cocoa (also known as flavanols) help your skin maintain its moisture content and help protect your skin from the sun. It can also keep the skin from being dry, which enhances youthfulness and smoothness. All this is a recipe for a fantastic skin care ingredient, should you ask anybody who knows about skin care, so adding it in your diet can only benefit you.  3. One word: Antioxidants
Antioxidants are typically found in fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants can help to undo damage that living in a toxic environment does to your skin.  4. Get to bed already.
With the non-stop pace and 24/7 cycle of today's world, many people are developing wrinkles before they should. The fact that people do not get enough sleep is the main cause of this. Scientists say that when you don't sleep enough or when you're living with excess stress, your body produces a hormone excessively that kills cells. Conversely, when you sleep enough, your body produces a hormone that produces cellular growth, which in turn provides the skin enough time to fix itself following a long, hard day. As a side note, the position that you sleep in will define where, how, and when you'll get wrinkles. If you sleep face up, you have a lot less of a chance of developing wrinkles than you would if you slept face down or side. Just something to be aware of.
