The Friends of AIDS Foundation 2 years agoThe HIV pandemic is likely the greatest global health challenge we will face in our lifetime. There are 33 million people infected with HIV and the number continues to grow. It is estimated that 25% of those infected are not aware of their positive status yet and could be spreading the virus. 25 million people have lost their lives to this disease. The prevention efforts have not been successful in eradicating the HIV pandemic. Society has become complacent about HIV and the dialog has diminished. The Friends of AIDS Foundation supports cutting edge campaigns that are designed to create dialog and raise the level of global HIV awareness.
