Andy Strunk of Louisville, Kentucky, is seriously rooting for Jennifer Lawrence to take home that Best Actress Oscar on Sunday night.
Strunk, who is 23 and has Down syndrome, studied with Lawrence at Kammerer Middle School in Kentucky way back when; he has childhood photos of the two of them and remembers they were "like best friends."
Strunk plans to get decked out in a suit and tie for the big night, just like he were attending the ceremony in person. And how will he celebrate if Lawrence wins for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook"? "I will say 'Yay! Yay! Yay!'" Strunk explains. He also says he'll text Lawrence's mother to congratulate the family because Jen herself will surely be "very busy." Aw ... Somehow we doubt she'd be too busy for her dashing best friend.
