Maria, it looks like you’ve made some people very angry. WhileIwould say that you haveaselect few classic records on here, this is by no means an all time great pop punk list. There are also some stellar bands in here (Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake, The Movielife) who’s all time greats have been replaced with the core of their mediocrity (Crimson? Really?)Rancid, Op Ivy, NOFX and Offspring are all skate punk bands that happened to throw in some catchy hooks. American Hi-Fi? Bowling for Soup? The All-American Rejects? These were the cash cows of the early 2000’s and by no means should be included in any list, letaloneabest of. Holy shit and for christ’s sake, will people get off of Blink 182’s throbbing cock? They had their time, they made their markIget it, but consistently placing these guys at the top of punk and pop punk lists is blasphemy. You might as well takeaheaping dump in the mouth of pop punk. The last pointIwould like to make is how can you recommendarecord that you state is forgettable with the exception of one track? You owe Allister an apology. Leave the MTV Warped Tour BS on the back burner. Go look up The Menzingers, The Dopamines, Masked Intruder, The Lillingtons, Teenage Bottlerocket and The Copyrights and consider saving face by rewriting this list.
