Watch A Gay Indian Man's Stunning Transformation Into Drag

    Yaaaaasssssssss, Harish.

Harish Iyer, one of India's best known LGBT activists, recently attended the Queer Azaadi Mumbai Pride Parade. And he did so in drag.

Iyer's mission was to help represent the gender-fluidity that is so common, and yet stigmatised, in India's LGBT communities.

"We need to understand that no piece of clothing or body part defines someone," Iyer told BuzzFeed. "It is our attitude towards life and love."

"I loved getting into the skin of a drag queen, the closest I could get to a woman and just one day in their skin made me realise that there is no them and us... Just that, this experience needed some extra padding," he said.

The video was made by Ranadeep and Judhajit from Yaanus Films.
