15 Struggles That Are Too Familiar To Anyone In India Who Likes To Party

    "Curfew" a.k.a. your worst enemy.

    1. Your troubles begin with getting to your destination in the first place. You'll likely be caught in so much traffic that you start drinking in the cab.

    2. If you can even convince your friends to come out while Bigg Boss is on, that is. Can't compete with Salman bhai.

    3. After spending hours in traffic, you reach a bar and find out there's no place.

    4. Finally you manage to get in, and realise that you'd have had more room to dance on a local train.

    5. But then there's that stroke of good luck and you actually get a table.

Only to realise you have to share the table with random people.

    6. Just when you're settled and starting to have fun, it's 11pm a.k.a. last call.

    7. So you have a stroke of genius and think: Whatever, we'll hit a club

Bad news. Everybody else had the same idea.

    8. Once you're there, you have to call someone to "sort" your entry, because there's no way you can just walk in.

    9. The drinking age is so high that it's totally not enforced, which means wherever you go, you're surrounded by 16 year olds.

    10. Unreasonable and exorbitant drink prices are the norm.

    11. Then of course there's always the violently gyrating dudes who think they're god's gift to dance floors.

    12. Not to mention the host of creepy characters you're likely to run into.

    13. Most of the evening is spent in anticipation of the cops busting you for no reason.

    14. When you have to reorganise your entire night because someone's wearing shorts/flip-flops and the bar is being unreasonable about it.

    15. And of course the big one. Practically all clubs and bars close for the night by 1:30am.

*Sigh* Keep up the good fight, party people.
