Dara-Lynn Weiss Won’t Talk About Her Controversial Vogue Essay

Random House’s Ballantine imprint will turn the piece into a book, which Galleycat describes as a “memoir about helping her seven-year-old daughter lose weight.”

BuzzFeed Shift has reached out to a Vogue rep for comment, and currently awaits response.

Update 7:09 p.m.: It doesn’t look like we’ll hear from Weiss anytime soon. A rep from Random House writes:

Ballantine has indeed acquired the rights to publish Dara’s story in book-form. The publication plan is yet to be determined and we are not making any arrangements for Dara to do media right now.
