I'm a come-here from Northern Virginia, Irish (yeah, I know, who isn't?) and fiercely proud of my heritage. I'm steadfast in my political and religious beliefs and will gleefully debate you on them until the fabled cows come home. I love historical biographies and historical fiction. My ancestors are allegedly exiled bastards of Charles II, so I'm engrossed in his reign, mistresses and casual affairs right now... I like to fish, I love to cook, I write a lot of short stories and I'm also working on a satirical political manifesto. That almost covers it. If you have something relevant that you'd like to ask, like "What are your political leanings?" or "Do you have any good recipes for redfish?" then ask them. I'm not interested in casual flings, so don't try it. I'd like to meet some interesting people who live near me, close to my age who have no interest in sleeping with me. I'd also like to meet some politically like-minded folks who believe that actions speak louder than words, reject the idea of a socialist United States, support the Second Amendment, and believe government handouts only encourage laziness. Or, some seriously leftist liberals that want to fight about it. I can't believe there's not a section for political beliefs. I'm making my own right here. Libertarian: A person who upholds the principles of individual liberty, especially of thought and action. Libertarians believe in and pursue personal freedom while maintaining personal responsibility. Libertarians advocate a high degree of both personal and economic liberty. We’re all for lowering taxes, eradicating bureaucratic regulation of business, and private sector welfare. We don't care for the idea of government handouts. We are a socially tolerant party; in other words, we oppose laws & restrictions against others who may not agree with us. We are a collection of people with a "live and let live" mentality and a balanced checkbook. We are The Party of Principle.
