Anything with a USA flag pattern, or items that can make you look like an American icon—for example: Statue of Liberty needs a mint green dress or sheet, and some ingenious craft paper crown and torch. Use your imagination. You can be a founding father, the liberty bell, the sky (and you and your roommates closet) is your limit
What you'll need:
A "Sorry We're Closed" sign. Found at any Staples store in the small business aisle. Even cheaper option? Write it out on a sheet of paper or piece of cardboard.
What to do:
Tie your sign to a string to hang on your neck and/or tape to your body.

Basic all weather items (an umbrella, scarf, heavy jacket, shorts and sandals—or whatever weather related items you've got in your closet)

Anything semi professional looking. Think 'call center worker' so guys can wear black pants and a button down, and girls can wear a simple dress, pantsuit, or skirt option. Use your interview outfits here!

A written sign that says "All our Representatives are Currently Helping Other Customers…Please Hold" sign.
What to do:
Hold this sign up at any point when someone tries to speak to you that night.
