Leo and Rosemary Raymond have been talking for a while about how much they'd love to go to Hawaii, so their son decided to give them an early anniversary surprise. He told them these leis were just a silly little gift, because of how much they talk about Hawaii.
They really thought that was it.
When Rosemary opened the envelope, this was the first thing she saw.
Again, clueless to the big surprise, Leo and Rosemary had a good laugh over the image.
When Rosemary flipped to the next page, she found the itinerary for a 12-day trip to Hawaii.
"You're going to Hawaii!!!!!" 🎉
The couple were still in shock as their son explained that he took care of everything — including securing time off from both of their jobs.
He told his parents, "You guys have been together for 50 years. I think you've earned it."
