That doesn’t make any sense; it is impossible for a non-member of the LDS church to be familiar with the religion. It takes honest experience to be familiar with anything. Also, if you are just going to go off of speculation, then you should at least gain a background of knowledge from a credible source. You wouldn’t go to Wendy’s to ask them about how McDonald’s operates; you would go to McDonald’s. Go to mormon.org and study and PRAY about it (in the name of Christ, of course) with an open heart. If Mormonism mocks Christianity, then what is Christianity? Many view the LDS church as being the closest structure to what Christ himself originally set up when he walked this earth. They worship the Father in the name of Christ. What you perceive as “secretive” is actually sacred. Then there are mainstream Christians, who generally tell everyone that they follow Christ, but then turn around and call people names and mock their beliefs. Christ wouldn’t do that, so why do you? Nobody is perfect. Mitt Romney isn’t perfect, you aren’t perfect, and I’m certainly not perfect. Ideally though, we should all remember that if we are going to take upon ourselves the name of Christ, then we should do our best to honor that and do as Jesus would do.

Your perspective is delusional. A wise person would get their information from a credible source, that is, the LDS church itself. You wouldn’t go to Wendy’s to ask them about how McDonald’s operates. It’s the same with religion and everything else. Go to mormon.org or lds.org with an open heart and PRAY about it. If you still don’t think it’s your thing, then don’t bash on others for finding something peaceful in their lives, but rather, commend them. If you aren’t open-hearted enough to pray about it, then it’s still better to support your fellow human beings rather than to call them names; it doesn’t matter if you are religious or not. It says a lot about who you are.

It’s sad, isn’t it? So many people are now finding faith in science of man…even though science isn’t perfect; it is constantly being proven wrong by other science. For instance, they used to have scientific evidence that smoking cigarettes is GOOD for us, but now they have evidence that proves it’s not. It’s all about perspective, my friend. We all have our own perspective, and nobody will ever have the exact same perspective.

Where are you getting all of this information from? Warren Jeffs is the current president of the FLDS church, which is a church that is completely unaffiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (incorrectly known as “The Mormon Church”). Comparing Warren Jeffs to Joseph Smith makes absolutely no sense at all. Also, Latter Days Saints worship the Father in the name of the Son, Jesus Christ, NOT Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was only a prophet, like Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, etc. If YOU care enough to dig deep into anything at all (religion or not), I suggest you get your information from a credible source. If you want to study McDonald’s, you wouldn’t go and ask people at Wendy’s about it. The best place to go is right at the source of where it comes from (of course, if you don’t have an open heart, you won’t find anything). In this case, go to mormon.org or lds.org, or even better, PRAY about it with an open heart!
