Mallah responded today with an opinion piece in The Guardian.
"His comments were a disgrace to fair dinkum Australians who understand this country is built on the rule of law," he said.
Prime minister Tony Abbott criticised the ABC for allowing Mallah on the show, communications minister Malcolm Turnbull called for an official review of Q&A, and conservative commentator Chris Kenny joined the chorus of haters, writing in his column, "last night's Q&A sank to new levels by providing an anti-Australian, pro-jihadist platform for a known extremist."
