So back in 2007, a young man named Thomas Neuwirth reached the final of the 2007 Austrian talent show Starmania.
Tom would eventually finish second, and go on to spend a brief period in a boy band that disbanded after a year.
Four years later, Tom introduced Conchita Wurst to the world, and the world loved her.
