A Woman Photographed The Exact Moment She Betrayed Her Husky

    "Oh, this again."

You've probably seen this image set around, because it's brilliant.

But what's the backstory? Well, turns out it's pretty awesome.

The dog's name is Anuko, and his owner, Jasmine Milton, a prospective veterinary from Aylesbury, got him from an Arctic Baikal litter in Shropshire on 1 March 2014 when he was eight weeks old.

"He's very affectionate and loves attention – typical of the husky breed," she told BuzzFeed. "He was then and has always been regarded as a 'gentle giant', despite his hostile looks."

She added: "I got Anuko shortly after I was treated with having depression, and ever since Anuko has lifted any downs I've ever had. He's forced me to go out when all I want to do is lay in bed. He's made me laugh when nobody else was able to, and now he's making the rest of the world laugh. He's my hero and definitely more than just a pretty face!"

Here's a picture of Anuko with his ball.

    He looks overjoyed. 😐

Milton and Anuko are now involved in a snowdog training and information website called Snowdog Guru, which she says has become a big success for both herself and its founder, a man called Paul Mather.

We've had a few occasions where our beautiful dogs have gone viral," she said, "which has helped raise awareness about the website and the breed."

And she added: "Since I was 8 I always knew I wanted to help people with emotional or mental illness, but after having Anuko I'm now stuck between animal welfare and psychology. Whichever path I eventually decide to go down, I'm positive I will help lives – either human or animal!"

Anuko now has an Instagram account, but he doesn't appear to have cheered up.
