Ava DuVernay Would Like To Remind You Diversity Is Not That Hard

"*Steps off soapbox* *strikes Blue Ivy pose* *blows a kiss.*"

There has been a lot of discussion about diversity and inclusion of late, by many of Hollywood's biggest names.

Now queen director Ava DuVernay has taken to Twitter to drop the mic on how simple diversity should be.

DuVernay pointed out that Queen Sugar – the show she's executive producing with Oprah Winfrey for OWN – boasts a diverse team all around. And that it's not that hard a thing to pull off.

Her advice for those seeking to diversify their teams? "You just have to look past your front door maybe. Or ask somebody. Or meet someone new. I mean, ya know? Jus' sayin'."

And then she delivered the best sign-off of all time.

    Listen up, Hollywood.
