8. “Blackout” (2007)

Poor post-meltdown Britney. I think we all wish we could “Blackout” and forget this album ever existed. However, don’t get me wrong, I belt out “Gimme More” in my car every time it comes on the radio. Damn you Brit-Brit and your awful but still catchy singles.

7. “Circus” (2008)

Besides the fact that “Radar” was already on her previous album (no really, the same song was on two of her albums two years in a row), Circus fell flat. Although we did get to see Brit’s freaky side with “If U Seek Amy”, and that’s a win for hidden sexual innuendos everywhere if you ask me.

6. “Britney Jean” (2013)

Brit’s latest album introduced us to everyone’s new favorite tag line, “You better Work B**ch”, but let’s all be honest with ourselves here, this album isn’t great. It also lost a couple points for that creepy stalker anthem, “Perfume”. But there is a lesson here: girls, if your man is cheating on you, spraying him with your perfume isn’t going to help, it’s just going to make you look crazy.

5. “Femme Fatale” (2011)

This album is when Brit started to get back on track and went back to doing what she does best, releasing catchy pop music. “Hold It Against Me” and “Till the World Ends” were great dance songs that were played in clubs everywhere (and thank god for remixes!).

4. “In the Zone” (2003)

Who DOESN’T want to see Madonna and Britney chase/feel each other from behind a wall? Yeah, that was weird. But “In the Zone” introduced us to one of Brit’s all-time best and most beloved songs, “Toxic”.

3. “Britney” (2001)

This was the first time Britney went full on sexy with her hit “I’m a Slave 4 U” (using 4 and U makes it provocative people). We got to see a whole new side of Brit-Brit with this album. Plus, it had some songs featured in the cinematic masterpiece “Crossroads”. I think a lot of girls became not yet women after seeing the Slave 4 U music video. Too much?

2. “…Baby One More Time” (1999)

Ah, Britney’s first album ever. Remember how innocent she was sitting in the school gym in her track pants crushing on her cousin? (No seriously, that was her real-life cousin, google it) Britney instantly made her name as THE Princess of Pop with her very first album. If someone can beat having Sabrina the Teenage Witch in their music video, I’d like to see it.

1. “Oops!...I Did It Again” (2000)

Some may disagree with me, but Oops! will always be my favorite Britney album. No one else can pull off dialogue that references the Titanic in the middle of their song and still make it a classic quite like Brit can. “Lucky” and “Stronger” deserve honorable mention for great songs on this album as well. And I think we can all agree that red jumpsuit changed Britney’s career forever.
