Which Race Should You Play On World Of Warcraft?

Dwarves are a courageous and bold race who dwell within the cold and icy mountains. These beings have mined treasure for countless generations, and though they are very loyal to their allies, they tend to be stoic individuals who rarely leave their dwelling. When threatened, the resilient and robust dwarves are quick to defend their home, and are always there to aid their friends.

Dwarf

Humans are a proud and diverse race. Despite enduring numerous wars and invasions, they are always quick to rebuild and their society continues to flourish. However, humans must never let their guards down, as outside forces are always looking to chip away at their kingdom.

Human

Afflicted by a terrible curse that turns into victims into horrifying beasts, the Worgen hide within the isolated nation of Gilneas, hoping for a cure. Though the origins of the curse are still unclear, those affected by it are able to shape shift from human to wolf-like forms, very much like a werewolf.

Worgen

Night elves are one of the oldest races in the World of Warcraft universe. They tend to be quiet and reclusive, and they have a strong affinity with nature. They are a just and honorable race, but they are very distrustful of outsiders, who in return are distrustful of the night elves because of their shadowy and mysterious nature.

Night Elf

Draenei are a peaceful and magically gifted race hailing from another world entirely. After being exiled from their world by a league of demonic forces, the Draenei have made their home on a crashed ship, the Exodar. Despite being displaced from their homeland, the Draenei continue to honor their scared Light and are committed to standing by their new allies.

Gnomes are highly intelligent and spunky individuals, though they have a tendency to be a bit whimsical and eccentric. They are one of the strongest engineering forces in the World of Warcraft world, and they are constantly designing new technologies. Though they are known more for their brains than their brawn, gnomes are still brave and adventurous creatures.

Trolls are savage, cruel, and harbor a deep-seated hatred for the other races. These barbaric creatures use dark magic and mysticism against their enemies, and they are deeply superstitious. Trolls also have powerful spell-casting and regeneration skills, and they are naturally very agile.

Though Goblins started out as slaves to jungle trolls, they were able to overcome their oppressors with their cunning and engineering skills. They are a highly intelligent race, though sometimes lacking in common sense. They are very complex and unpredictable creatures that are constantly designing new weaponry, vehicles, and other devious items.

For hundreds of humans killed during the evil Lich King’s campaign, death was not a source of salvation. Now, the scores of undead are bound to the tyrant’s rule and are tasked with eliminating all life in the World of Warcraft world. One group was able to break away from the Lich King’s rule, naming themselves the Forsaken. They must now fight to free themselves and survive in a world that sees them only as monsters.

The Forsaken

Descended from exiled high elves, Blood Elves are characterized by their obsession with and addiction to magic and arcane forces. After their original source of magic, the Sunwell, was destroyed, Blood Elves have been desperately searching for new sources of magic. Blood elves also harbor a deep-seated hatred for their high elf and night elf cousins.

Blood Elf

These buffalo-like beings are devoted to nature and their goddess, the Earth Mother. They mostly live as nomads, but recently they have started to form small communities throughout the the rolling plains of the Red Cloud Mesa. Tauren are very peaceful and noble beings.

Tauren

Before to being brought to the World of Warcraft world of Azeroth through a Dark Portal, the Orcs were members of a shamanistic society. Though they were corrupted for a period of time by the Burning Legion, the Orcs have managed to reclaimed their shamanistic roots, along with their honor. They are now very proud and noble creatures who are extremely loyal to their allies.
