    Twenty-seven years of experience in government relations and public affairs consulting has seen Linda Kowalski earn several accolades from government officials and business leaders.

    Over the course of her career Linda has forged more than a few substantial relationships that benefit her clients, starting with the O'Neill Administration, extending thorough the Weicker, Rell, Rowland and Malloy Administrations.

    Linda Kowalski has earned a much deserved reputation as a hardworking, politically savvy, and results-driven lobbyist who has the ability to skillfully arrange and execute successful grassroots lobbying campaigns.

    She pioneered groundbreaking legislation for the Connecticut Association of Optometrists and their patients. A modernized and effective scope of practice law now permits ODs to provide the kind of vision care services their

    patients need and desire.

    Linda is founder and president of the Kowalski Group, L.L.C., a Government Relations and Consulting Firm.

    She has provided government relations services to a wide array of clients and issue areas, including: solid waste management, financial services, telecommunications, electric restructuring, public utility work, telephone competition,

    retail automotive, marine trades, and environmental issues.

    Linda's hard work has paid off in the form of respect and admiration from her clients. She has been honored by the Connecticut Dental Hygienists Association for her efforts to protect the profession, and with recognitions from the Connecticut Association of Optometrists and Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association.

    In 2010, the CAO recognized Linda Kowalski again for "Twenty-Five Years of Outstanding Service" to the profession.

    In 1993, she received an "Outstanding Leadership Award" from the Connecticut Campgrounds Owners Association, Inc. in recognition of her work in the repeal of the 12% tax on campgrounds.

    In 2011, the Radiological Society of Connecticut presented an award to Linda "In Appreciation of Many Years of Service to the Radiological Society of Connecticut".

    Linda graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, in 1983 with a B.A. in Government and Economics. Her educational experience included internships with Attorney General Joseph Lieberman and State Senator Michael Morano.

    Ms. Kowalski is a member of the Environment Policies Council of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association as well as the Legislative Committee of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce.

    Linda's dedicated attitude extends to an enjoyment of running, where she has competed in seven marathons including the Marine Corps Marathon, the Hartford Marathon, Philadelphia Marathon, New York City Marathon, Boston Marathon

    and the Vermont City Marathon, where she placed third in her age group.
