The mosquito pictured is a female. If it were a male it wouldn’t matter what it was carrying because it couldn’t bite you or transmit a disease. I don’t think Aaron’s previous owner ever really understood her.

Most people don’t give little kids chicks anymore because they aren’t taken care of properly. A chicken is a farm animal, not a fleetingly novel pet. I find it sad that someone is still promoting this outdated Easter tradition, especially when she says, “If only they would never grow up into nasty adult chickens.” Nasty how?!
