(I'm also curious about your alpha female statement.. to which species are you referring?)  There is a problem with the way we raise animals for food, and not just because of the cruelty imposed on them. You'd be an idiot to ignore the negative effects on our health, and the environment, that stem from mass-produced meat plants. You don't have to give a shit about the animals, but you do have to acknowledge that real issues exist which need to be addressed.
