Annie's Top 12 Favorite Things About Colan; A Valentine's Day Special

Colan loves teasing me about my BuzzFeed devotion. He also loves asking me to list my favorite things from our trips together. It's also Valentine's Day. You do the math.

12. He started trying seafood for the first time, just for me!

And wouldn't you know it, there are things he actually likes! "Fishy friends" be damned.

11. In turn, he introduced me to craft beer.

10. He knows that I'm not exactly a fan of his cats...but is generally okay with it.

9. Between his brainy ways and love for Star Wars, some might call him a geek...

...some might be right...

But he doesn't care. And neither do I!

8. He came into my life at the perfect time...

so that I didn't have to become the real life Debra Messing character from "The Wedding Date."

But every now and then, we fall victim to our favorite: homemade pizza. DElish.

5. The man remains a real-deal romantic...a trait that doesn't quite come naturally to me...

Notice our Valentines from last year; his came in the form of a gorgeous bouquet and sweet note...mine? A card involving bathroom humor. But he knows I love him! ;)

4. He understands and fully supports my obsession with my godkids

And offers himself as their jungle gym.

3. He literally made one of my dreams come true with pit tickets to Beyonce

As he said on Instagram, "if you like it then you shoulda put a wristband on it!"

...and as I said, "WE'RE SO CLOSE I'M GONNA DIE!!!"

2. He serves as a pretty amazing Co-Adventurer. The last two years have been filled with expeditions near and far.
