“Simpsons” Fans Break Guinness Record For Longest Television Viewing

Twentieth Century Fox recently hosted a five-day “Simpsons” marathon in Los Angeles to promote the show’s upcoming 500th episode.

In that time, 22-year-old Jeremiah Franco and 33-year-old Carin Shreve broke the Guinness World Record for continuous TV watching (86 hours, 37 minutes). Fox awarded them $10,500 each, and the champion tube boobs shared their Zen-like strategies.
