I know, right? Now tell your friends!

Your street is their street in NY or across the country…We pay collective taxes for our streets all over America, Fed., states, cities and counties. The people have a right to gather. The problem is Representatives on Government payroll have no respect for the people they represent.
New laws for Congress term-limits, limited or no campaign funding or fundraiser will be written off on taxes. That is big money that should have been circulating as Revenue, to pay for our programs and systems. No more Bush Tax Cuts, Subsides, unlimited write-offs without enough people to validate, new corporate write offs and change some regulations implement others… This is just a beginning to correct the social engineering by deregulating Wall Street to Main Street and sub-prime mortgages, much like those S & L abuses..
Ten years of social imbalance in our tax system by one single party Republican and they want to do more of this for promises like before. Why as that ideology produced a nightmare to our country? Tell corporation off shore bring back business in America or move all your business out of this country, never to return to sell your contaminated products to our people.
We will not and should not go back to working slaves in third world conditions as before FDR… We should stay with programs we know, fix them until new programs can be tried and tested.
Any party backed by billionaires is for gain as they have the most to lose…Everyone should know about the Koch Brothers their invested interest in the Tea Party, manipulations of the election system in WI, all their invested holding companies and how they play into this picture.
Sorry for any store fronts inconvenience so get out there and show your support. If you don’t like paying collective taxes, understand you will pay more to private industry… You will have a fee or insurance for everything even your fire departments… Please people get a brain… These young people on the streets are right. They are fighting back against a stalling Congress when they do not have time to waste. Their generation badly affected by this. The shift to private industry has cost them dearly… To take programs in place and dismantle them for the elderly is inconceivable.
Tell congress to get this job bill passed no more delay… They should be thrown out of office for all the delays and lower our credit rating. If they try to blame it on the Democrats say NOWAY. We watched on C-Span the little generals saying our way or no way… We want it all not compromise…When they try to say they are under social warfare say Hell yes, as your party has destroyed our middle-class and we are fighting back….No more demagogic baby talk, not a word just a another hate filled comment to those that do not agree and will not let them railroad this country.…The Frat boy young guns. . Mr. Cantor you burned yourself after that arrogant saving for the family car speech to Joplin, MO Refusing to offer funding until their state could find money to cut from their system as they lost a city and were digging through the rubble of left of their homes for family members. You are the living devil. I would be ashamed to have such a son. The money is in the give-away entitlements to the very rich that would pay for this and these corporation that desert their country for even more profit. Just pigs.

A person’s right to assemble and their right to free speech doesn’t preclude another persons right to move freely (ie: use a sidewalk or public transportation). And an individuals rights cant be used to interrupt public operations. A shop owner should be able to open his shop. A person should be able to get to their job or to pick up their child. You have the right to express your views and make them known. You don’t have the right to interrupt other people’s lives or disrupt public operations. It’s blatantly obvious that the “child” was planted their and most probably presented and coaxed into a situation to be arrested.  I agree that corporations run rampant and have destroyed the economy using their plants and cronies in the government. But their is no way that I’d associate myself with this idiotic bunch staging these protests. And anyone who thinks that these types of antics are going to win support from the masses needs to stop and reconsider. If you want to see proper protests, look back at history. Martin Luther King Jr. won support. MLK brought the problems to public view and showed their absurdity. Martin Luther King Jr. didn’t disrupt businesses, schools, governmental operations or cause problems with peoples day to day lives. Their protests were respectable and dignified. The way they conducted themselves pointed out the injustice in the system because there was nothing that could be questioned about the protester. They were reserved, and non-disruptive and the system responded violently. The juxtaposition of the respectable protester and the systems horrible response brought the problems to the forefront. This bunch just looks like a loud unruly mob, and the police are responding to the mob with restraint. The masses are just going to look at you morons and shake their heads in disgust. Their actions are a field day for corporation’s PR departments, the mass media and corrupt politicians. You make it way to easy to spin this against you. They are professionals at it after all.  This is exactly the problem that progressives face today. This young bunch is stupid. You need to quit just surrounding yourself with people who already agree with you. You need to realize that for change you have to reach out to people that are undecided, ignorant to the problem or of differing viewpoint. Just because you are right doesn’t mean that everyone will agree with you immediately. And force feeding your message will have it met with resistance. The receiver of the message has to be able to relate to you. And the people you are trying to reach in this situation live normal lives. They have jobs, kids and day to day concerns. You all show up looking like street bums and acting like hooligans. You look violent and disruptive. (not to mention you look like street bums or pot heads) The majority of people won’t and can’t relate to this. Again, look at MLK’s protests. They showed up, clean cut and in their Sunday best. They walked with dignity.  Progressives are doomed until they pull their heads out of their over-educated, self righteous asses. The “left” is small, the “right” is small. You need to reach the middle, dumbasses.

Just talked to friends who managed to escape arrest on the bridge. Police appeared to wave people through to the street (the walkways were packed to a standstill) and then surrounded everyone and threw nets on them.  To the guy making fun of protesters for taking to the bridge instead of, I don’t know what, breaking into a CEO’s office? …THAT is how protest movements work. When things get a bit messy more and more people are forced to pay attention to just how bad the overall political situation is, until things reach critical mass.

The Brooklyn Bridge was involved in the derivatives trading that crashed the economy? WHO KNEW!?

If someone’s in the street, can we just tell them to get out of the street instead of arresting everyone in the vicinity? I don’t understand the rhyme and reason to these arrests.
