With the move, the agents of PF - who filmed the moment of approach - managed to prevent the airplane from taking off. The plane was “prepared” for the transportation of cargo, according to the sheriff, as all seats had been removed to facilitate the accommodation of the parts. According to police, the aircraft seized on Tuesday is sold for between $300 thousand and $500 thousand. “Besides the price, it is important the plane is no longer used for smuggling or for trafficking in drugs,” said the delegate. Asked about the damage caused to the police car, Souza said that the “benefit” to seize the plane compensates for the damage - the images will be used in internal process to justify the loss. According to the delegate, only the windshield of the vehicle was damaged and the repair should be approximately $400.
