Barbara interviewed Clint several times during the 1980s. This was the first, and to cut the ice, Clint showed off on the hotel piano. As you do.

Barbara had some great questions! Like these:

"Do you think you're a good actor?"

"Do you think you're sexy?"

Clint: "... I don't know, I never look at myself that way."

Meanwhile, they stared into each other's eyes a lot, which may have just been Barbara's interviewing style... or maybe not.

They meet again in 1982, on Clint's land in California, and this isn't even the most bizarre part of the interview.

During the interview, Barbara checks in on his relationship & asks him about his tough guy rep. "You're very calm, things don't ruffle you. What goes on inside?"

This is where it starts getting SPICY.

Barbara: "You would drive me nuts, and I would drive you nuts."

and in 2014, just before her retirement, she spoke to AARP the Magazine. We, of course, asked her about her most flirtatious interview.

"Clint Eastwood. I heard recently that he's getting divorced, and I thought I should write him a letter: "Dear Clint, I'm still here."

I have to tell you he hasn't yet called me up to say, "Dear Barbara, how are you?"
