Before closing out the edition for good, The Archives Of Milton Greene (The Archives, LLC) is making Portraits of an Era Prints available at an incredible price for collectors. By the end of the promotion, 'A Piece of Me' members will have received more than $6,800 in limited edition prints for a total of $1,125.

Initially known for his fashion photography with Look, Life, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue magazines, Milton H. Greene (1922 -1985) gained international acclaim with his photos of Hollywood’s 1940s and 50s icons. With an uncanny ability to capture the mortal beneath the image and believing that beauty was in the soul, he shot insightful images of numerous stars, including photos of Marilyn Monroe. The assignment resulted in an enduring friendship, during which Greene helped release her from a restrictive studio contract, formed a production company with her, and assisted in making her one of the most famous women of her time.

The Portraits of an Era edition first debuted as an exhibition of newly restored photographs by Greene. It was launched in major U.S. cities in 2001, and then traveled to London, Melbourne, Tokyo, and Sydney. In October 2015, the Portraits of an Era collection will be discontinued. The 'A Piece of Me' Challenge is the last chance for collectors to purchase Portraits of an Era at a discounted price. Participants in 'A Piece Of Me' will be gifted a $2,300 Marilyn Monroe in White Fur print after their 6th purchase.

The edition is comprised of images of Marilyn Monroe, Milton H. Greene, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, , Grace Kelly, Sammy Davis Jr., Bette Davis, Catherine Deneuve, Diahann Carroll, Jane Fonda, Lauren Hutton, Marlene Dietrich, Audrey Hepburn, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, Nancy Sinatra and Tony Curtis. In honor of Marilyn’s 75th birthday, ten Marilyn Monroe images were unveiled for the first time.
