    Khow suey

    From Burmese ခေါက်ဆွဲ, is a noodle dish. It's a one-dish soup meal made of egg noodles and curried chicken or beaf with coconut milk, served with a variety of condiments.for example fried roasted onion ,fried garlic, choped green chilies , boiled egs, crackers and many more. A squeeze of lemon also adds tanginess to Khow Suey.

    INGREDIENTS:-

    oil half cup

    garlic 1 tbs (minced)

    ginger 1 tbs (minced)

    onion 1 medium size (diced)

    cinnamon 2 inches

    bay leaves 2

    chicken 600g

    turmeric powder 1 tsp

    coriander powder 1 tsp

    cumin powder 1 tsp

    red chili powder 1-2 tsp

    salt to taste

    Egg noodles 200g

    soy sauce 2 tbs

    note: in Burmese cuisine they uses fish oil but i am using soy sauce ...you can use 1 tbs fish oil instead.

    coconut milk 1 cup

    corn starch 2 tbs

    plus you need condiments of your choice to serve with khow suey

    green chili

    onion

    lemon

    boiled egg

    fried onion

    fried garlic
