Hydroelectric dams are being pushed hard in South America. Like any motion, it has lots of stakeholders - what role do you play in all this?

It's a Friday night. What's the dress code?

You're buying a jacket. What does it look like?

An oil rig just spilled into your bay. What's your response?  


What's your preferred form of artistic expression?

What would it take to get you to approve off-shore wind projects?

What's your primary concern regarding solar power?

You work really hard and are really efficient! Unfortunately that also means other people tend to use you for your work - at least make sure you charge them a lot of money for it, and make sure that you consider the consequences of the work you do on others!

You really care about your image, and how the rest of the world sees you. You're in some position of power to help others, and really you're doing your best to help in all the ways you know you can - just be sure that you don't look too big-picture, and that you remember that you need to take care of the outliers too. Importantly, remember to listen to all sides of a story before taking action, because your actions have the power to affect so many!

You balance on a double-edged sword. No, you ARE the double-edged sword: be careful how you cut! You have the money or power or influence to do great good or great harm - with a good set of moral guidelines that you're willing to stick to, you can definitely be the change you want to see in the world. Try not to be too risky or over-ambitious, and mind the consequences of how you exert your power!

Ah, the tender, caring heart. You know your stuff, and have a vision for the world, where people are good to one another and the world is clean and bright. Just be sure that in your quest to reach that goal, you communicate well with those you disagree with, and understand where the other side is coming from. Nobody will agree with you entirely, and you should make the effort to see why someone has a different vision.

activist

You're just out here trying to live your own life - why is that so unreasonable?! Maybe you keep getting pushed around by the government, told to move elsewhere and accept some amount of money for uprooting your life and family, or getting promised money and never receiving it. Maybe activists keep telling you how to live your life and that you should go protest or something. Life is tough, man - remember that while yes, you should care about the world as a whole and everyone contributes to global energy policy, the government is YOURS and should take local experiences and priorities into account for policymaking.
