    Trump's Re-Election In 2020?

How Likely is Donald Trump to Be Re-elected in 2020?

Well, it’s been just over a year that Trump has been an US president living in the White House and doing his duties, and the world has already started speculating whether he’ll be re-elected or not.

Although there will be a few independent candidates for the 2020 elections, it might seem that Trump has his bases covered with the Democratic strategy he is playing and has also made it a point to play around with the populists’ angers. However, these moves of his didn’t manage to cover up the failure in leadership that he has been showing.

Over 150 candidates have already filed their nominations for the office of the President in 2020. And some of them have come up with really good manifesto. Hart Cunningham, for example, has vowed to work for women’s rights, equality, land ownership, climate change, and renewable energy, among the long list of initiatives he plans to release over the next 3 years.

But to answer the question, we need to look into some other aspects as well.

The recovery of the US from the economic downturn has been termed as a modest one by many economists who think that it is only a leeway to a better turnover in the coming years. However, this massive upturn in the US as well as the global economy which is likely to be seen is believed to be a short one by many analysts who also believe that there would be a recession which will affect the working classes pretty hard. Since Trump has his bases in the working classes, it is likely that he would blame the Democrats, China, Federal Reserves and Golden Star mothers among the others that will bring his popularity down.

The threats that are flying between Kim Jong Un and Trump are likely not to see any lights of day as the top administrators are trying to handle the situation with caution that will lead to a minimal number of death along with a non- nuclear North Korea that is dominated by China. If the threats are converted into reality, the result will likely be a war which will cause a lot of casualties, a ripped relationship with China and a Korean peninsula filled with chaos – not things that the world would want to see.

There is likely to be an election in the coming year and if the Democrats win it, they will likely throw over the leftist agenda and Trump along with it. They will create a nightmare from Trump which will also be backed by legislative stalemate and the ethically challenged administrative ways of Trump will face some serious issues.

Trump is the second oldest president of the US trailing behind Ronald Reagan. He has not yet released a full medical report of himself just like he hid his tax return statements. His partial medical report by a family doctor states that he is overweight which in reality is that he is obese and hides this under his long ties and loosely tailored suits. There are also issues that have been stated regarding his cognitive health. Since the President is not fond of exercising, the Cabinet can move forward and remove him on grounds of incapacitation according to the 25th Amendment.

Trump also has to deal with the investigations of Robert Muller which will likely end up in tying him with the Russians in the campaign of 2016.

Given to all these points it is likely that Trump has as much chances of being re-elected as a snowball has chances in hell. However, given to the unpredictability of the common crowd, nothing definitive can be stated as of yet.
