Conquer Social Anxiety: 3 Tips For Better Communicative Skills

Social anxiety is more common than you think… With less outdoor activities and more internet use, many people are hiding from the world. They’re shutting off, avoiding friends and a big world outside. This isn’t a way to live. Life has so much to offer, and you need to explore its blessings as much as possible! What You Should Do… If you’ve got social anxiety, keep reading. Below, we’ll show you 3 tips that rid you of this issue. Apply them to your life, and enjoy the results!

#1 – Find Like Minded People.

You can lighten your anxiety through shared interests.

That’s what likeminded people are for. They’re people who enjoy what you like, and support your values too!

Plus, they’re deeply interested in your strengths and specialties.

This can be anything, from writing or music, to gaming or politics.

Where Do I Find Those People?
Look for groups near you. You should find them on popular social media platforms.

And if you can’t find any, then organize your own! Setup a group, and market to those close or online!

    What if I Lack Interests/Strengths?
Then it’s time move onto the next tip…

    #2 – Pick Up a Solo Sport.

If you wish, avoid group sports. Especially if you’re in school, where you might not feel comfortable with other teammates.

Solo sports are anything you practice alone. Your advancement doesn’t rely on a team, or a position in one.

Instead – everything you do is governed by your own efforts.

Excellent examples include dancing, martial arts, swimming, running – or bodybuilding!

    Benefits.
With a solo sport, you learn to be around people. But you don’t need to “socialize.”

There’s no banter or annoying talk. You get in, say hi, do your work – and then leave.

Plus, you can keep relations with others constructive. You don’t need to emote, join group politics, or have discussions outside of “the sport”!

Then there’s the health benefit. Exercising is known to alleviate depression. In fact, it’s commonly seen as “effective” as anti-depressants!

What if I Lack Time for Sports?
You shouldn’t. Sports are necessary for your health.

But if you really do lack time, then no worries. There are other ways to “push away” social anxiety, such as…

#3 – Run an Online Business.

    Start your own gig.

Here’s the thing. Running a business involves lots of communication. You talk to buyers, suppliers, partners, and employees.

Then there’s paperwork – and services you contract to set yourself up.

Basically, talking to people is a part of business.

    No Need for Money Either…
That is, there are many businesses you can start on dimes. And they help you deal with social anxiety…

You can start a content creation project. You can start a website or YT channel, then present yourself, and talk about topics.

You put yourself out there. And it helps you face your fears.

Or, maybe you can work as an online retailer (drop-shipping). You don’t need much capital to start this (maybe 4 digits tops).

Plus, you get to practice important “customer service” and “retail contacting.”

    Business Calls.
Any business has a phone line (https://makefreecallsonline.com/ is a common service for that).

And they’re always picking up calls, talking to others, dealing with issues, etc.

That’ll hone your business communication skills. But at the same time, it resolves your social anxiety issues!

    In a Nutshell.

Dealing with social anxiety is all about exposure.

Put yourself out there. You can do it through shared interests with others. You can do it through athleticism.

Or you can do it within the structure of business!
