Meet CHVRCHES, Your New Favorite Band

CHVRCHES is a synthpop band from Glasgow, Scotland that was formed in 2011.

In short, they're your new favorite band.

The band consists of Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook, Martin Doherty, and Jonny Scott (unofficially since 2018)

Lauren, the lead vocalist, was formerly a member of Blue Sky Archives and Boyfriend/Girlfriend. Iain was part of Aereogramme and The Unwinding Hours. Martin was also part of Aereogramme, as well as The Twilight Sad. Jonny has been doing drums for various bands for years, and now is a tour member for CHVRCHES.

They recently released their 4th album, Screen Violence.

It was released August 27th and has 10 tracks (Asking For A Friend, He Said She Said, California, Violent Delights, How Not To Drown, Final Girl, Good Girls, Lullabies, Nightmares, and Better If You Don't)

Their other albums are The Bones Of What You Believe (2013), Every Open Eye (2015), and Love Is Dead (2018)
