There's a lot of stigma around cursing in witchcraft, some people (especially Wiccans) believe that if you curse someone that the curse will come back to you 3 times stronger. This is known as the 3fold law, it's mainly a wiccan belief but some non-wiccan witches have been known to believe it as well. Whether you want to curse or not is really up to you! Don't let anyone harsh your groove.

Looking into the occult can be really useful if you run out of purely witchy resources to study witchcraft.

Cultural appropriation is never okay, but it's especially important in witchcraft. If you accidentally misappropriate or do something incorrectly you risk pissing off dangerous entities. If you wish to practice a kind of witchcraft that's not from your own culture be sure to ask permission (or for help) of someone from that culture who also practices it.

In witchcraft placing your intent in a spell is really important, if you aren't focused when placing your intent into a spell, the spell may not work as well. With meditation, you can improve your focus.
