Ugh, This Year's Bachelorette Villain Is Literally A "Meninist"

He might even be worse than THE CHAD.

If you saw the preview for Rachel Lindsay's "Bachelorette" season at the end of the premiere, you probably saw that this guy ends up becoming the villain.

In the preview, he is shown antagonizing the other contestants and stirring up some drama.

He calls himself the "only country boy in here" and says, "I'm going to have problems with some of these guys."

What the trailer does not depict, however, is the fact that Lee Garrett has issues with women as well.

"Meninist"?... I have found my calling. https://t.co/ENvwyj63gb

Specifically, the fact that he calls himself a "meninist" on Twitter. The link doesn't lead anywhere, but his other tweets suggest he is not the greatest advocate of equal rights.

He isn't the biggest fan of protests.

"When a bunch of sore losers gather in a highway it isn't a protest, it's a tantrum" This is awesome.

Yes, protests are totally tantrums, and not at all mechanisms for speaking up and creating change. Sure.

He even believes in "minority privilege."

Ahhh, racism at it's finest. This is "minority privilege", this is Hillary's America. https://t.co/nKIbwgEi1z

    Definitely a real thing.

Not even sure what he means by this...?

Sorry ladies, I can't make the world not exist to fulfill your needs in the appreciation/ self worth department. #guyissues

    Yikes.

Lee joins the ranks of the "Whaboom" guy, who was recently discovered to be a body shamer.

Lee's questionable character is especially unfortunate because Rachel Lindsay is passionate about women's rights.

@on_roses I would definitely consider myself an advocate for women receiving equal rights.

And while "The Bachelorette" doesn't usually get political, this season feels particularly politically charged.

It's hard to imagine that Rachel, a confident, successful, smart woman would fall for either of these problematic contestants.
