How to style a Festive Dessert Wreath:

White Chocolate Snowball Truffles with a Holiday Dessert Wreath are all we need to get into the festive spirit! Get Holiday-ready.
Makes 14–16 balls
INGREDIENTS
340g (12 ounces) white chocolate
⅓ cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons butter
⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Zest of 1 orange
Pinch of salt
¼ cup raspberry jam
1½ cups unsweetened coconut
PREPARATION
1. Begin by placing the white chocolate, cream, and butter in a large, heatproof bowl. Place the bowl over a pot of gently simmering water and allow the contents to melt completely and combine — about 4–5 minutes.
2. Remove from the heat and add in the nutmeg, cinnamon, orange zest, and pinch of salt. Stir to combine evenly, then allow the mixture to cool completely in the fridge (1–2 hours).
3. When the mixture has cooled, remove from the fridge and divide into 14–16 evenly sized pieces (a small ice cream scoop works well for this). Then, take each piece and create a small indent in the center with your thumb. Fill the indent with a small dollop of jam, then roll in your hands to form into a ball. Transfer the stuffed and formed truffle to a bowl with the coconut and toss to coat. Repeat until all of the truffles have been stuffed, formed, and coated in the coconut.
4. Return the truffles to the fridge to rest for another 30 minutes (they will heat up during this process), then serve as a part of your seasonal dessert wreath. Enjoy!
1. Keep it varied: Make sure you have a good mix of chocolates, candies, salty nuts, and fresh fruits. That way, there’s a good variety of colours, textures, and flavours. And of course, add your white chocolate snowball truffles last so they are the star of the wreath.
2. Add a dramatic bow to the center. You can also use a small battery-operated string light to add some festive flare to your dessert presentation.
3. Distribute your treats so that they’re evenly dispersed. It's more visually appealing to see all of the ingredients this way, as opposed to seeing large piles of the same treat.
4. Add mint to give that pop of green and the look of holiday holly!
5. Have fun! Remember that this is a great activity to assemble with the kids.
